Work in serial, not in parallel

In general, I know that I'm best working on one thing at a time. In User Guide for Jess Martin, I describe this as "simultaneous in-flight initiatives":

Granted, I'm already splitting my days between two large initiatives: Educating my children, aka Homeschooling, and Future of Computing research for Fission. Splitting further would seem unwise.

To that end, I should seek to focus my Future of Computing research on a single, serial initiative at a time. I'll need to attach specific milestones to each one to allow me to find a rhythm rotating between initiatives.
