Messages from your past

How might we remember our earliest years through the eyes of the people around us?

So far, I have set up an email address for each of my kids and I email them messages and pictures and videos. One day, I’ll give them the password to their account and they will have 10+ years of memories from me and others to sort through.

However, there is some friction involved in email. Phones are optimized for text messaging.

What if I set up a cell phone number that I could text messages, photos, and videos to that would then write those photos, videos, and messages to a permanent file store?

It would operate much like a text message thread in my phone – low friction, a timeline, easy to post photos, etc.

Additionally, I could give the phone number to other important people such as my wife and in-laws and they could also send messages, photos, etc.

Then I just need to build a viewer application that could show that information over time.
